My Mom. Eater of frogs.

They see you.

They learn from you.

Today my 10 year old brought home the cute stuff that they made at school for Mother’s Day.

She said she tried to be honest in her answers (and probably why she put TV/bed/computer amongst “things my mom loves”!!!)- and that not all her friends were being so honest in their answers about their moms 🤣🤣

I picked up the Hershey bar meant for me.

“I wanted to write “Eater of frogs” 🐸 but my teacher didn’t think it was a kind thing to say”, she piped up.

I looked closely. There was an “E” erased out before she wrote something considered more appropriate.

I was tickled. And touched. I bent down to kiss her and told that it was the absolute best compliment someone could give me.

Kids are just the best!

In case you’re wondering, I’m a huge fan of Brian Tracy’s book Eat That Frog and use this line all the time when the kids or I need to do something that we’re dragging our feet on.

The book in question is this:

Keep doing your thing, mamas- they’re learning from you, they’re proud of you and they will do their own version of badassery when it’s their turn.

Happy Mother’s Day.
